ASTM Level 2 Made in Canada Pediatric Disposable 3 Ply Mask (50/Box)
Benchmark PPE Level 2 procedural masks are the benchmark for low-barrier fluid exposure. Our 3 ply masks feature a moisture absorbent inner layer (Meltblown Polypropylene) and a moisture repellent outer layer with pleated polypropylene for full coverage of the nose and mouth. Added nose stiffeners (Metal is standard but plastic is available upon request) ensure a tight seal to minimize gaps.
Masks are 100% polypropylene. Latex and fiberglass free.
Ear loops are 70% Polyester, 30% Spandex.
- Made-in-Canada: All of our PPE Procedural Masks are 100% designed and manufactured in Saskatchewan, Canada
- Full Coverage: Our 3 pleated design offers full coverage of the nose and mouth. Added nose stiffener offers a tight seal to minimize gaps.
- These masks meet or exceed ASTM Level 2 requirements and are ASTM F2100-19

Q: What is ASTM?
A: ASTM refers to the American Society of Testing and Materials American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM). ASTM is an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services—including those in healthcare.
A: The filtration efficiency and protective ability of a face mask is compromised when the mask becomes wet, torn or dislodged. The higher protection value of a mask the longer it will maintain filtration; however, there is no set rule for how long a mask should be worn as it depends on a variety of factors. A medical face mask should be worn for only one patient procedure or visit. If a mask gets wet or soiled it should be replaced.
A: A mask is only as effective as its fit. There should be no gaps along the side, around the nose or under the chin that would allow air and droplets to bypass the filter medium. The mask should always be properly adjusted to fully cover both the mouth and nose. A well-fitting mask stays in place over the nose and cheeks and even a regular mask will prevent fogging of eyeglasses if it fits properly. Masks should not be worn underneath the nose or dangling around the neck.
